Qualifications

Experience is desired, but not mandatory. We will work closely with you and encourage the development of caregiving skills.

    • Must have your own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance. 
    • Have a clean DMV driving record (2 points or less)
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Ability to pass a DOJ background check, a drug test, and a TB test
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • References required.
    • Be a team player, have the ability to work with limited supervision, being self-motivated and be able to follow both written and verbal instructions. 
    • Have a professional and friendly attitude, be patient, compassionate, and truly want to help seniors thrive at home.

    • Incontinence care including changing depends and/or toileting
    • Bathing
    • Dressing
    • Grooming
    • Medication reminders
    • Transferring
    • Bed bound care
    • Hospice care
    • Dementia care
    • Cooking/meal prep
    • Laundry
    • Light house cleaning
    • Companionship
    • Outings and transportation 
    • Errands
    • Assistance with exercise programs
    • Other duties as needed
